Approach
The SMS management team offers a strong focus on project management and performance. We offer an effective system to manage, report, and achieve significant success in the short and long term projects we undertake. Generally, our management efforts include the following components:
- The establishment of a refined relevant and specific job description for each team member, based upon actual needs, timeframes, and condition of the project.
- Implementation of valid time estimating procedures and the implementation of protocols to closely monitor achievements and contain costs.
- Communication of specific staff performance standards, which are measurable and geared toward the closure of projects.
- Implementation of procedures and protocols which capture staff activity and progress on a weekly basis and compared with established standards.
- Ongoing internal auditing and review of Project Packages prior to submission to ensure exceptional performance.
- Use of team leaders to effectively monitor performance, and take action to expedite closure of projects and deal with hurdles.
- Weekly (or as directed by client) performance reports with both detailed data and summary level results;
- Training programs that are necessary to address issues or concerns which arise during the project that may hinder productivity. These curricula are developed based upon, not only specific direction by the client, but also the findings of internal reviews, audits and individual performance issues.
